Reframing The Discussion: Ten Truths About Sexual Assault and Child Sexual Abuse

Do you want better (and more respectful) conversations about sexual assault on your campus or in your workplace? Conversations that lead to meaningful strategy and action? Reframing the Discussion: Ten Truths About Sexual Assault and Child Sexual Abuse is a 60-75 minute program, designed to be delivered in person or as an online webinar. You can add small group follow-up sessions if you want staff or students to practice having difficult conversations too. (This training transfers to a range of topics.)

Quotes from past participants:

"Kimberly has a gift for talking about triggering topics in a way that is factual and doesn't evoke a lot of emotional charge from the audience (at least, for me). I was really impressed by your ability to do this."

"Your session today was so, so good. You gave us a clear framework and practical skills to move in the world with more confidence and strength to address even the more difficult moments of resistance and silence. Thank you, thank you."

"I greatly appreciate your no nonsense approach that feels simultaneously like you're addressing the harshest truths while also being non-judgemental. Thank you for sharing some of your personal biography and how rape and child abuse has impacted you personally. Thank you for your research and voice and ways you're addressing this. And thank you for offering this presentation!!!

"It was helpful that your first few bullet points were the most content-heavy, and that you named that we will move a little more quickly through the rest of the presentation. Your communication about the structure of the talk, as well as sharing the 10 points in advance, helped create safety for me. Thank you also for naming that we should take care of ourselves and leave at any point if we need to. You did so many things to create safety for us. I think the 10 points were also helpful to create a sense of containment and help orient us during your talk to how much was left. I loved your talk and didn't want it to end - yet I still found this comforting."
