Tools and Trainings
These offerings help us reclaim our power as social creators in order to make the world a more just, equitable place. There's no doubt that we're navigating complex social seas, and each of these training options offers engagement at different depths. When we begin skill-building, the work is primarily about learning to notice the social world in a new way: what patterns are there in light and currents? How do conditions differ at different times—and for different people?
Some of these offerings are free and they can help to transform abilities right away. The Deep Dive trainings are each 3 hours long and provide interaction and practice. These are held online twice a year, or Kimberly can travel to work with specific groups. This kind of practice is necessary for gaining the confidence and skill to stand up and ride the waves of social inequity, creating new possibilities as we interact in our communities and workplaces.
The Body Wise Intensive is specifically for those who are ready for long-term, larger-scale intentional engagement. All of us must continue to ensure that our actions line up with our values, and we can't do that alone. We need to learn to use our own lives as the tools for cultural transformation, in concert with others. That work involves rest and self-compassion as well, and we meet in Hawaii for five days to do it. Held by the beauty of nature, we'll explore how our bodies and emotional intelligence influence our work, and prepare for transforming our professions too. So much is possible when we learn together, in this kind of environment.
